The USB are use for mounting USB stick or air mouse. The android can play 1080p mp4, mkv with hardware acceleration.

The external speaker has no use.

The RCA connection should go directly to your cars AUX port inside your armrest. Buy a RCA to 3.5mm connector at a dollar store.

Don't ever touch the dip switch when there is power to the switch. It will fry the box if you do that.
First unplug the power going into the switch before playing with the dip. There only two, forced calibration mode and regular.

Does the external speaker need to be plugged into the Android module? I don't think it's needed.

Do I need to use RCA connectors from the Android module to the a/v input on the switch module?

Do any changed need to be done to the dip switches?

Mine did not have any instructions.

Both boxes under the glove box. Its a very tight fit under there. I might move one box and attach it under the cover.

I tucked the 3.5mm cable on the edge of the center console. The seat is all the way back. When its moved forward the cable is hidden.

I used the same ground and power points used in the dash camera post. I get alternator whine when no sound is playing on the Android. Not sure if it's a grounding issue or the 3.5mm aux cable. I'll try the rca to 3.5mm and see if I hear the alternator whine. if it does then I'll move my ground and power to the same ones used by the switch box.

With the help of ewenc126, he is locale to me, he helped me through this project. On the big plug adapter, you need to unclip 3 plugs from the Porsche harness and clip them to the adapter harness.

Sorry so blurry. The sirius antenna can be taken apart so you can remove it from the porsche radio.

If you're going to go through this much work, wouldn't it be better to splice into where-ever that AUX cable goes?

No, I have a '17 with the current PCM and, as yet, don't need to replace it.

But I'd think the audio input cabling ought to be reasonably simple to find where it goes into the back of the existing radio harness. If the insulation coloring isn't enough then perhaps sounding it out with a tone sender would work. With the battery disconnected, of course, to avoid shorting anything.

A unit like this would be useful: http://amzn.to/2gu0NWd
For this task and probably a number of others involving tracing wires.

It'd be interesting to know if they use the aux-in line jack as an open connection or as a make/break. Like how computers or other devices will use a headphone jack. Where they use the inserting of the plug to break any existing connection going through the jack and re-route it out the tip/rings of the socket.

If I'm right, the same seller has the PCM 4.1 already ready have the similar Mod.
Same price, but it's still Android 4.4.
He should have Android 5 soon from his Korean supplier.

Why don't you stuck the box like I did, behind the glove box?
This panel is only hold down by 1 screw. and two clips.
