With PlastiDip I did them right on the car. I taped the entire rear bumper off and then just did the lights.

I like it! I'm going to do the Lamin-x on my turbo this coming weekend. I hope it turns out as nice as yours.

Question, since your plasti-dipped the lower lense, does it still illuminate? My guess is that it would look extremely dim and broken.?

Regardless, looks nice! I plasti-dipped my rear emblems and lower rear door "chrome trunk trim."

They are reflectors no lights. They do not light up.

Good info Marpir. I haven't had the chance to look closely at them. If the Lamin-x film doesn't hide them, i'll use your technique.
