Cayenne Oil Change

Hey guys... my wife has a '08 Cayenne V6 and so I was wondering when the first oil change is recommended by Porsche...

change it every 5000 miles, you have nothing to lose if you change it more often than the factory recommendation and it won't cost you a fortune if you just go to jiffy lube or anything like that..

Mobil 1 0W-40 ( You can find the oil at walmarts, and can change it yourself. I think I've seen an easy oil change solution on Skymall, that requires no experience or going under the car, when I was flying back home )

This is very good advice. Just because you CAN go 10,000,20,000 or however many thousand some manufacturer's claim on an oil change does not mean you should. Cheap insurance against any possible issues. I have seen turbo exhaust impeller/turbine wheel break apart from each other due to neglected oil changes, variocam solenoids can get clogged with sludge if let go too long. Mind you, I'm not talking 1,000 or 2,000 miles over, but it can happen.
