Kerr, I bought a CPO warranty from my dealer for my 04 Cayenne S. 2 years or 100 k miles. $3500. So you can purchase a CPO warranty from a dealer, even if you already own the car. They need to certify it, inspect everything and will charge you for a full service, (oil, b pads, coolant) http://www.porsche.com/usa/pre-owned-vehicles/approved/
So the Reg. and warranty doesn't have to actually change hands to the dealer.?
Always heard that was only way to CPO.
It's Porsche and all other Auto Manufacturer's way of helping sales on pre-owned. By CERTIFYING... to make purchasing used more attractive.
