Well I was looking at your photos of the intake tubes that replace the air box to the mass air flow... Decided id take it appart and see what i have. Got everything off the car then resoretd to detached garage and started going threw my old supra and corvette parts.. Opend box #2 found intercooler piped used from one of the big turbo setups that was on the supra. Took it to the garage and perfict fit on the driver side. Opend box #3 was full of couplers and clams. Box #4 had some turbo parts from the camaro & silverado... Found another left over tube. Fits like a glove..
So i have 2.5 inch cuppliers going from the mass air to the intake tube on each side... I couldnt find any filters that would fit, ( had some old diesel parts but they where about a foot to long) So i went to auto zone, got to cone filters $22.50 each... And whala works like a champ..
The turbo whistle is back... i forgot how much i missed that noise, Also when you let off the gas it make that wonderful PSSSSHHH that turbo cars are known for..
Only thing left to do is to attache that hose on the passanger side that connects to the air box to the intake tube. I ran out of time today, had to go to the inlaws... On a side note does anyone know what hose that goes too..
Ill post up picts later.
