Question CTT cooling fan staying on after engine is off

Odd issue developed recently w/ the CTT. Everytime I turn off the ignition, the cooling fan in front stays on for an eternity. Weather is cool and temp gauge is below 1/2 mark (car is not overly hot and was not driven hard).

Yesterday evening I let the fan run for about 15 mins after parking car. got fed up / started engine / let idle for a moment / turned off ignition. fan stopped after 30 seconds. Today same thing- I let it run for quite some time, gave up, started car, shut off, fan shot off 30 seconds later.

anyone run into this? Possibly bad temp sensor? My 911 does this occasionally, but only (and understandably)after one of my usual fun jaunts through the canyons

canberk will become famous soon enough
sounds like a bad sensor to me, it should be a DIY job if you can find the technical bulletin for replacing it.
