Detailing Forum Guidelines - 14 Jun 09

Note the new Show and Shine forum. It's for professional detailers to post their work. Enjoy!

Guidelines

#1 - Only sponsors can advertise services and sell products!
Advertising consists of:
-A company name or reference to a company name as your user name
-A company name, link, or point of contact in your signature
-A company name, link, or point of contact in your profile
-A company name, link, or point of contact in your avatar
-Promoting your products or services
-Posting work you've done for clients

#2 - Be respectful to each other.
Self Explanatory. I haven't seen this to be a problem in the Detailing forum as it has been elsewhere, but it still needs to be said.

Consequences: If you break a rule, you will receive an infraction. Break it again and you will receive either a timeout or a ban, depending on which rule it was and the severity of the infraction.

What I expect in return:
-Feedback. If you see me doing something you don't understand or don't agree with, let me know. I may have missed something that you noticed. If you see a better way of running the forum, let me know that too. I have no problem refining or modifying the above guidelines if it's in the best interest of the forum. My PM box is always available.

-Report violations. I'm not online 24/7, so it's entirely possible that I will miss something. I won't know I missed it if no one tells me. You can PM me a link and explanation or you can use the report post button located on each post. Either way, the suspect post will be reviewed and dealt with.

The direction I would like this forum to move towards can be found here:

Any time there is an update to the guidelines, the updated portions will be highlighted in red.
