leather seat question

Hello all
I didn't now where to post this question..

on my passenger side, on the corner of my bolster almost next to the silver plate I have what its look like a curve.. if you touch it feels like the metal inside the bolster with out the cushion, don;t know if this can be normal..
as today I had my seat replaced, because of some leather damaged.. but they put the new drivers bottom seat in the passenger seat...so dealer had to do take out the bottom from the passenger, put it on drivers and put my almost new passenger seat agai, so inspecting the passenger I noticed this, so might be normal, just a little worried if with time the leather will get ugly in that spot because is missing cushion..
here are some pics of the before, after and the bolster..

thanks all

That looks like the cushion from the driver seat where the seat belt assembly latch would lean next to. That indentation looks like where the latch housing would be leaning against, hence the divot of where the plastic housing would be. Just my deduction...I may be wrong here.

thanks Moe, it could be, but the weird thing is that on the driver side I do have cushion and it does not have an indentation... the bad thing is when the passenger seat was removed I didnt do a prior inspection, because that was not seat with problems.. so I don't know if this was when they re installed the passenger...

Moe probably you know this better..
when the bottom part is removed, do they get the leather cover out and then the cushion or is just like something they take out easy in one part ? no need to pull leather cover out..

I know the rear bottom seats are all in one piece...backing, foam, and leather. I can find out about the front seats. Did you also think that maybe you got 2 driver bottoms? Maybe someone goofed, ordered 2 driver bottoms, hence the indentation on the right side of your passenger seat.
