For anyone familiar with the way Ferrari dealers work, paying $500k (or $450, or $425) from a Ferrari dealer isn't just buying the car, but buying your way into the dealers good books. Since private individuals aren't able to offer the same after sales benefits (priority ordering of new models etc), perhaps they are a more accurate reflection of the true market value of the Scud (since you're not paying for any "extra" benefits).
