it is always a challenge to drive a Ferrari but one has to learn the ropes to survive the F/E panels.

That's funny. My dream car was always a Porsche which took me 20 years since I could drive, before I could afford it. I have a lowly 997S, couldn't even afford the turbo. Ferrari is like a cult status. It's sad, but I've come to terms I will never own one. I read another post about a person lookin for a 430. He has set aside 50k a year for payments, maintenance, etc. That's 4 grand a month for you non accountants. Not going to happen in my career.

The capristo offers 2 exhausts for the 430.... race and standard exhaust with valves. The race is much higher pitched than the kreissieg. Avoid exhausts with valves, remote control as they will only break and cause an annoying rattle, etc.

Now that you mention it, I do remember hearing something about valves being a huge pain. I also noticed that the Kreissieg didn't sound like the website, but was higher pitched than the Capristo. I'll have to check with my friend about his Capristo and see if he can do the check with the pipe cleaner (i think) about what stage his exhaust is.
