Wider and a tad longer than the current F430...I think in person this car will be much more appealing...I LIKE!
Must not go to the dealership now...must wait...must wait...on my way!!

To my eye the new Ferrari is lovely and exhibits a glorious design continuity, whereas the Audi 5.2L R8V10, down by 50 bhp and much heavier, looks like it was cobbled together from the parts bin:

I was set on purchasing a DB9 or DBS next year. Now I'm seriously reconsidering it. The 458 looks to be an incredible car.
Obviously you have no idea what it would take to get one of these. Some dealers will take your deposit never having owned an F-car before and tell you sometime in the next 3-5 years, your number will come up. Other dealers will tell you that if you purchase one of their "overpriced" used cars, it will improve your chances of getting a 458, but there's no guarantee. Then there's always paying 100 grand over sticker which will make it happen a lot faster. 458 looks sweet but enjoy an Aston for a few years and then go for the F-car as it would be much more of an enjoyable process. Just my $0.02...

this is a game changer and moves ferrari way out of porsche's league. no 911 variant could ever hope to compare. this is more like a cgt.
the mid engine models are universally loved and hold value while the front engine ones have controversial styling and depreciate like mad. why is that?
Wow, the spy pics really weren't doing it for me and considering how much I hated the 430 initially and how much it grew on me...I feel like I'm going to love it. It reminds me of how I felt when I saw the 360 spy shots...
Great work Ferrari, this car will be a stunner in real life in looks and from the spec sheet, the track as well.
Not sure what I think of this car. When the 360 and then the 430 were revealed, I was just instantly in love with the looks of the cars. I'm not geting that same vibe from this car.
I'm sure this car will be a performance monster and that the styling will eventually grow on me but it just doesn't have that instant visual appeal to me that the last few F cars did.
In other words, you're are exactly opposite everyone else. The 360 and especially the 430 were recieved very lukewarmly. This car is lighting up every board out there.

my interest hinges on if it will be available in 7 speed manual.
If its ONLY the gay F1 paddle crap, then it is worthless in my eyes.
