Thanks ALPINE6SPD,

The Kit comes with everything you need, however the outcome of the finished product depends on the skill and experience of the tech installing it.

Here are some pics of the Ferrari Scuderia 16M with the Novitec Rosso/KW HLS-2 kit. The Scuderia was delivered to us from the dealership at a rally car ride height with 2+ inches of fender gap. We actually considered putting on mud flaps.

Objective: Lower the car to a more aggressive stance increasing visual appeal. Achieve better high speed grip and stability by lowering the chassis closer to the ground, thereby increasing the aerodynamic efficiency and down force generated by the front spoiler, underbody and rear diffuser. Do all of the above while retaining OE drivability of the car (Not scraping the Scuds nose on every driveway and speed bump in town).

Solution: Novitec Rosso/KW Suspension HLS-2 kit. This kit works with the Scuderia’s OE suspension dampers and comes with properly calibrated replacement springs and helper springs. Once the install was complete, we set the desired ride height, corner balanced, and aligned the car.

The system lowers automatically if you forget it’s in the “UP” Position around 60mph. This kit is must if you own a Scuderia/F430 car, it allows you to have the best of both worlds, a lowered car that is still practical around town.

sounds great to be able to lift the front end over speed bumps around l.a....unfortunately this is a necessary mod here! do these work with the stock shocks only, or are they available if, say, i had some motons i wanted to install with remote reservoir? i understand that the springs and helper springs will lower the car. can you tell me how many pounds they are rated at as compared to stock, or are they the same, but just lower coil stack height? not trying to sound like bashing, this sounds like a great kit for the everyday driver with a lowered car. just trying to understand if that is only exactly what exactly it is, or if it is a true set of coil overs with revalved shocks and springs that use higher compression springs (for the track, for example). thanks in advance.

KW Kit

Hi Luiscarlos,

Sorry to hear about your negative experience,

Was the installation of the KW System done by professionals? Were the 2-way dampers set correctly for compression and rebound front to rear? The dealer you purchased the kit from should have taken care of you first, then dealt with KW if there were any issues.

The whole experience sounds a little strange to me. Then again, RSS/Stuttgart Performance does operate differently than most, we always put our customers first.

In any event, I hope it was resolved in your favor.
