What type of lift do you prefer?
I'm in the process of tearing down my garage and building a new one and wanted to know what type of lift do you use for storage. I need a lift to store a car and it needs to be low car friendly.

If your building from scratch, you could always countersink it to be level with the floor but most ramps are 3-4".
Is it just storage or do you plan on any maintenance?
I went with a 4 post DirectLift and have the scissor jack to raise the wheels when needed.
A 2 post will result in a post in the middle of the floor if that could get in the way and also, 2 posts have to be anchored to the floor so make sure you have a very good concrete pad below it.
A 4 post can just sit on the floor or in my case, on top of race deck tiles.
