Vehicle lifts

Not sure where the Harding is not solid, I guess the steel in it came from across the pacific (no not proud of that), fine, have your fun. It is part US and part asian, ok, so are a lot of American cars. However, 4 posts are not ideal designs in all situations and I find not having to walk around things at the front of my garage (ie...posts) is quite an advantage. Another boon is when it's not being used for a car (in restoration for over a year) it is practically a second floor storage area, since it does "have a floor" and it's amazing how clear I can keep my main garage areas by using it's considerable square footage. I did undercar maintenance myself for some 40 years but no longer, so that particular attribute of a post lift isn't a point to be considered either.

I have $4500 in mine (which included the swiss trax under it and the install), however it was a dealer demo that had been used twice. I am not certain but I think these are close to $10K new from Harding Steel. Might be worth looking because I really don't know the current retail cost and am likely misquoting. Remember this is the company that does some pretty daring parking solutions (underground lifts etc) so this isn't your garden variety 'post' lift company...
