Retail for the quad unit: $1225 GB price: $1075 ($150 savings)
***The units are being sold directly from LI USA so they come with free shipping in the US and the full 2 year warranty***
There is also special pricing available for anyone that wants the limited edition units as well.
If you want a unit, please post which version you want (2 or 4 head) and how many. There is a limit of 2 units per person at the GB price. We need to purchase 20 units to get the GB pricing.
I'll also need you to PM me your full name, email address, which unit you want, and how many. I will forward your info to LI USA and they'll send you an invoice via email.
The GB is going to end on Feb 14, so please place your orders by then.
This thread is solely for persons interested in purchasing one of these units. If you have any questions about recommended installers in your area or technical questions about the product itself, feel free to post them here and I'll get them answered. However, if you have no intention of purchasing this product, please refrain from getting involved with and diluting/polluting this thread as this is not the place for a debate.

On Feb 1, 2009 I personally tested this product on my own daily driver which has mediocre head placement. I had Jakester there as well as a 6speed witness. We each took turns shooting the car with the various guns. Here are the results:
In addition, I've tested previously tested this product with two other guns and got complete JTG's both front and rear on two passes with each gun.
I don't really know what else to say. It works.... It's been independently tested with huge success. It's been personally tested by me with huge success. If law enforcement in your area is using laser (which most are), this is a must have. Beware, there are some "hater" sites out there run by competing manufacturers. Take that stuff with a grain of salt. And if you don't believe me, pm Jakester. He was there on Sunday and saw it for himself. Combine a Laser Interceptor with a V1, and you've got a pretty good shot at never getting another ticket.
Any questions, feel free to post and I'll do my best to get them answered as quickly as possible.
Here are some videos of the laser interceptor in action: 5-series BMW with dual Laser Interceptor on the front
anybody have a picture of one installed on the front of a 997?? I've been thinking about one of these, but not sure how they will look in the grill.
You won't even notice them. As you can see on LI's site, the heads are black and quite small. You'll mount them on the top portion of the left and right air intakes on the front bumper. You'll be able to see them if you're looking, but they're not obvious.
Hi, I am interested in the dual unit, but wondered if there are any installers in or around Vermont?
There are no installers in VT. However, any automobile stereo installation center familiar with remote radar detector and laser countermeasures installs can install the LI. It's not really that complicated. Head installation is very straight forward and the CPU needs to mounted and hooked up to a switch 12v source. Simple stuff.
I need to decide, if 2 heads in the front are enough, or I need to mess with the "backs". I live in NH, most of travel around NH and MA, with occasional trips to NY or Canada through VT. So far, my V1s served me well, but shifting from 996 4S to 997 TT may a bit increase my desire to drive fast, so additional protection would not harm. In real life, how often cops catch you with lasers from behind? Depending on your suggestions, I'll order 2 or 4 head unit.
I suggest a 2 head unit. That's what I'm running in my DD. 4 is nice but 99% of the time they're going to hit you from the front. It takes too long to play catchup if they shoot you from the back. If you blow by them doing 80 and they're stopped, they're going to have to do 120 plus for an extended amount of time just to catch you. Get the 2 head unit.
