Question on the comfort ...

How comfy are these? I had a set of Bride Zetta III buckets in my Evo and they where ok for around town, but on long drives they killed my back. I know any bucket wont be super comfy but still wanted to see how well padded these are?

I personally believe these are very comfortable and very supportive. They aren't overly padded though.. I would describe the seats as being very firm.

Why was it impossible to install the Sportster's in a 996 gt3? How hard would it be to fit the sportsters into my 997?

The Sparco DTM CF seats are way superior to the 996 GT3 seats but I do not care what anyone says, with standard mounting brackets these seats DO NOT sit well in the GT3.
I've said it a million times, you have no head room to wear a helmet, your knees hit the steering wheel and you can not use the stock belts.

I am waiting to receive the new fabricated mounts from Speedware to make this happen and the belt extensions. Right now I'm becoming unhappy.

Sh!t I didn't know they could go in the RS4 but I want them for the GT3 .

Cheers
Ranger

I just ordered a set of these from Speedware. They should be here this week, hope I made the right choice...I will post up some pictures once I get them installed. I will also weigh my full electric/heat stockers and the DTM's for comparison.

I have had them in since last winter. They look great, are firm but comfy. Can be a bit too firm on long rides, but worth it. Perform great on the track. Buckling the stock belt is tricky, but I'm used to it now. But, kind of discourages a lot of getting in and out. Also thats because you have to kind of climb in and out of them. If I didnt track the car I wouldnt use them.
I would order the extenders that they say they have. I will myself i think. I would say they are medium large. Too tight if you have a wide body frame. The seats are great overall.
I'm just under 6ft, kind of long torso and dont have a head room problem with helmet.
Did I say they look great.
