PeterC4C, thanks for your feedback. Finally what I was looking for from a fellow enthusiast such as yourself. I'm looking forward to it, it'll just be hard giving up the RS4 for the new ride.

I really don't care about what badge is on the car, but which car I enjoy driving more.

+1.

Peter, do you mind telling me if what the wheel options are? From the pictures I've seen, it seems costumers have a choice of white or darker wheels.

Great car, though!

I think the only choice on the wheels is that gunmetal gray.

Interesting fact about the wheels. - There are teeth on the inside of the rim to grab the tires in place to prevent tire slippage on the rim.

I see.

A GT-R seems like an interesting choice for me in a couple years when & if their resale dips into the $50Ks. Have fun with her, though.

Thanks for posting!

I am about to find out the same, I have a white 997 GT3 and the Nissan should be here next week in gunmetal gray, so this is an interesting read!

You are confirming what I suspect, but you don't know it untill you feel it i gues.

I am not keeping both, we will see...

It has nothing to do with being rare, the Porsche 911 is what all others are judged by and has been for 30+ years

Porsche is very nice car but it's not like it's rare. It's almost as common as Nissan in Southern CA.

Standard includes darker/gray wheels w/ summer tires . If you get the cold weather package, you get lighter/silver wheels w/ all season tires.

Not trying to take anything away from the GTR, but if I want a true sports car...GT3 > GTR it is.

I'm sure there is some of you with a impressive stable that are used to this, but I've never seen this kind of reaction. I was playing basketball and in a period of 1.5 hours, I saw about 10 cars pull off the road and into the parking lot just to see the car.
Reminds me of when I first got my Evo back in '03 when it hit the US for the first time.

I agree. Personally, I would go with the Porsche 'coz it's more of a driver's car and I like feeling more connected to the road. As I get older, maybe that preference might change for something "easier" to drive. But I'd have to be MUCH older for that.
Driving experience aside, I didn't grow up dreaming I'd someday own a Nissan. To me the icon in that dream isn't really heterogeneous.

The picture shows the GT3 in the garage with the GTR outside. I think you made your choice already.
