Thanks again on the compliments guys. It is nice to see my thread still brought up periodically. I purchased my carbon fiber air scoops from Revozport.com. Here is a link. http://www.revozport.com/revozportRT.htm
Wow!! I can't believe I never saw this thread. Coastline Collision Clinic in Orange County is doing a RS conversion with GMG front fenders (and carbon roof) on my 997.1 GT3. Seeing this got me all anxious as the completion date will be within the next month. I am almost tempted to go with a satin white vs original Carrara White now...
Very nice job!!
I have completed a GT3RS conversion of a 996 to a 997. I truly appreciate your work and the fact that you have saved a GT3. It is my personal goal is rally enthusiast to save these wonderful cars from the wrecker. We as enthusiasts must support high quality rebuilds such as this. I am looking to organize enthusiasts that would be interested in forming a registry of these cars. Many are put to the weckers because of the fear that such a rebuilt should be avoided. These are rare cars. Not salvaged Hondas/Toyotas etc.

Great conversion, looks completely unrecognizable that it was a 996. I also really like how you have done your interior. These are special cars that should be saved if rebuilding them properly is feasible.
The Gt3 rs Looks Fantastic ! My question is are carbon fiber wheels acutully all carbon fiber or are they veenered for cosmetic looks? if not, are they a very thick weave? seems like high stresses for CF.... BEEN using Carbon fiber on everything , has a flex to it ???"
Why the stripes? Well lets see, it has RS fenders, wing, front airdam, wheels, bumpers, engine lid. If your going to do it do it all the way. Why not the stripes?
