What does the #2 cost?
Im thinking about going with Akrapovic. If the 10 GT3 RS comes with TI exhaust, I belive, it will be from Akrapovic.

They are both right at $10,000..

The FVD system has more clamps, which is kind of scary..

By the way, FVD quoted me over $3000 more than other distributors for the Akrapovic GT3 race system and slip on Turbo system.

I was quoted about $ 8300 shipped from an Akrapovic distributor in Germany.
Sam @ autotalent in Los Angeles told me they are working on becoming an Akrapovic distributor also.

When? For the full race system or just the muffler?

The FVD system doesn't look like much, but it's power gains are proven.

Meisterschaft offers a complete titanium system for under $5000.

You can also pick up the Kreisssieg Titanium system for under $10,000.

I will get weights first thing tomorrow for you.

Akrapovic designed the factory 997 GT2 exhaust system. I had a GT2 and the exhaust sounded lackluster.

FVD's is made by M&M. They manufacture exhausts for Porsche Motorsport.

FVD titanium race system on order.

I would look into the GMG Racing Titanium muffler delete, save yourself some money with some high quality stuff from there.

Gmg's saves 1/3 the weight of a full titanium system.

Gentlemen most of you are being overwhelmed by the "purty" Akrapovic exhaust system. So what.
Look at the headers. Totally unimpressive design. Actually no different than stock. I do not care how "purty" it is. It's under the car.
DOES IT MAKE POWER?

On my yellow 997GT3 I had FVD headers and no other tuner's headers made more power. PERIOD END.

OmahaGT you made an great decision. FVD has proven to me to make real rwhp gains.
Everyone is so enamored with Akrapovic.

Why does everyone not give FVD the time of day?
