Here's a few pix/updates guys on the two 997 GT3's we're building... one is a white 2008 and the other a silver 2007.

Out she comes:



Guys we should all take a lesson here... This clutch has seen 37,000 "hard" (and I mean that) miles yet look at the condition


Rear main seal? Not so good... hence we're replacing all of the cars we do these motors on (or indeed LWF's) with the 996GT3 one instead.


Over to the white one... out she comes too:


A pair of very expensive motors...


The higher mileage motor did have a lot of "dirt" and other fun stuff to clean off (along with the harnesses and other parts):



Out come the cams...


Not bad for 37K? Actually pretty darn clean/amazing...


Those Ti rods are soooo light:



Fast fwd many steps And in go the EVOMS head studs...

The white one is also getting the TechArt noselift kit installed (just like on kermit):

I really dont see the point in the new GT3 and GT3RS... this would definitely be money better spent rather than getting hit with depreciation and forking over a ton more money for some flared front arches, slightly fatter rubber and less engine capacity than kermit.... hmmm now if only I had a money tree growing in my back yard...
