Great news and perfect build. Thanks again for paving the way into the future. When my time comes, this will be the way I am headed. BTW, the ultra-light straight pipes photo almost dropped me out of my chair! YES!

I may have missed it somewhere in all my excitement, but is $24900 the installed price?

Gentleman,

I can honestly say I am a changed man (Porschephile) after riding in this car this week with Sharkey. This project; sound, looks, seat of the pants feel, responsiveness of the rev happy motor, and price is an OUT OF THE PARK HOMERUN !!

This is the best Porsche that I have ever been in (I have owned 8 911's myself),
and I am no stranger to power/handling/etc.

Alex, you, James and Todd really have a winner here and I am hopeful to someday do this!

All the best,

Marty

Also,

After having 6 different exhuast systems on my 996Turbo, I can tell you this is the
BEST sounding Porsche motor ever...This exhuast system that Sharkey sells for the street (with Cats), screams at 7000+ and cruises with no Rezz on the highway.
Nice Job!

I love it. My toy search may be over... pick up a used RS and push it to 3.9, unless of course the stroker is right behind this.

Do it to a 997 GT3 (no RS) and the value is even better.

I also believe it can be done to 996 GT3 ??

Alex ?

It's amazing what you're able to squeeze out of this motor, WITHOUT compromising the daily driveability.
Hehe thanks JWGT2. Means a lot and you can come drive it anytime:P And the other one too (also lethargic!).

Thanks Sammy... it really turned out so well. We spent a long, long time speccing/planning things with EVOMS and the icing on the cake was having the emulator for the live on-site tuning. We got literally weeks worth of work done in days because of that and she purrs!

Hey, careful now... I have you on video replying to one of my questions with, "Now Alex, let's not get greedy here and call it a day" Seriously though everyone that's driven it can't believe how well she just drives "normally" let alone when you go up to 8800. The tuning process is on another level so big pat on the back for ya.

Damn everything I just said above... Well you drove it a bit on the dyno didn't you? You can drift in your dreams on the dyno next week then with the "other" car....

Seriously Marty that's so nice coming from you and really means something. I'm so thrilled myself with the way it turned out that I couldn't be happier and I'm off the sauce (otherwise known as Turbos) for good now:P

We just need to get you into a 3 now eh?

That's exactly right Marty. There will need to be some fine-tuning and exhaust work done to a 6 GT3 but I can't imagine the difference with one of those. With the 7GT3 and a dual mass it's going to be so night and day
