Which cars are eligible for this conversion? Obviously the 3.6l dry sump motors are, but how about the 997s or 997 or cayman motors??? I know the heads are all different, but what can you offer the other cars.

i am sure james will figure out something.
however, if you want bigger motor now, jake raby is the authority on m96 motors. good his name and you shall find his shop on east coast.

now you need a baby recaro seat for the 3.9L
btw, i drove the beast today. very pleasantly surprised. i knew it will have hp, that was no surprise. but i was expecting poor idle or slow rev due to large pistons. but it actually rev'd faster than OEM RS and the power was very very linear. it feels just like the OEM 3.6L except everything happens quicker....
so, why didn't alex get this thing developed before i sold all my GT3's....

We had to wait till you got out of the 7GT3 scene because otherwise we'd have had to play engine merry-go-round what with all the different cars?!?! I'm with you... power is real nice but for me the engine responsiveness is even more fun

Absolutely correct! LN engineering etc... those guys make liners etc... and turn it into a usable motor

As I understand it, there are no options for the 997S motors. NO cams, NO liners, etc... The software out is marginal at best and there is no real avenue for custom dyno tuning at all. Correct me if I am wrong.

We can always do cam work but yes the first thing to do is make it a proper motor with liners etc.... Once that's done then Todd is at the ready with his Bosch Emulator and tuning kit

FYI guys... for those of you that already have the exhaust (that means you David lol) we're actually crediting that off of the amount of the full build since we are _still_ using our exhaust for the whole conversion

Hey Alex, I have an idea.... how about I volunteer my '04 GT3 for development of similar upgrade for the 996 cars!!!
