Don't be sorry xlr8ion, better, worse, or whatever... It's all about choices - different strokes for different folks... the beauty of customizing

Actually the center lock is constructed of aluminum with an anodized finish. There are also specs engraved on the outer rim of the lock itself.

Reading this thread reminded me of problems others have expressed with painted or powder coated lugs..Since these centers are actually a working part (and aluminiun at that) would there not be significant difficulties maintaining this "styling" modification.

Wheels look great! The barrels are coated as well, right?

I like the contrasting center lock left. It would have been too much black otherwise. Nice job. Wicked car.

Can you guys PM me a price for my 2010 wheels? I'd have to ship them from NY.(Dec delivery). Can I have the leading edge of the rim silver, like Porsche does?

Hi 911dev and thanks for the request,

Yes the barrels are coated black as well.

To save you a bit on shipping incase you don't have a local coater who you trust, I highly recommend our partners in crime and fellow forum sponsor Rennsport-One in Florida. They offer high end powder coating services that are top notch. You can contact Justin from Rennsport-One at 305-328-9455 and see them on the web at www.rennsport-one.com or click their link to the side. Justin will be happy to help you.

If you want to ship your wheels to California, just contact me directly at 714.545.1046 when your ready and I'll be happy to quote you. Congrats on your 2010 GT3, ours is arriving to the docks this week from Germany......look forward to an exciting build - doors, wider fenders w/ air extractors and hood all going Cargraphic Carbon Kevlar to start, etc...

Thanks,

Bryan
