after the last track day with you and the group of GT3s, I realized that a 6-speed is needed for the fun factor.
too bad I'm only #5 spot at the dealer. With the current rumor of only 250 RS coming to North America, they may not have one for me...
It sounds like the odds are better then the ones for your current car, #13 of 50, with a large possible market vs the 1 of 250 with a small market! Like everything in life, anything is possible as long as some one is willing to pay for it!

Unless the guy in the video was lieing he said 1370 kilos WITH a full tank of gas. I only posted that b/c I thought that it seemed so low. Only about 150 kilos off of a 911 Cup car is what he was saying. This seems hard to believe, but I hope that it holds true.
Because our DOT requires glass window, GT3 seats with airbag so the GT3RS will be different from the rest of the world. Hope that helps. Take care!

How do you explain the US Order Guide spec'cing "Plastic Rear Window" as standard equipment? Are you claiming the Order Guide is in error? Or did I misunderstand your post?

I admit that I too want one... the marketing machine maybe has me bitten...
But when I take a step back....I just wonder.... why is everyone saying this car is so badass AND god like compared to the previous version? What is so much better about it? If you got the ROW RS gen 1, it had the rear plastic window, 1 piece carbon fibre seats, rear roll cage, no sun roof... the works.... and I can tell you FIRST HAND its awesome....
The new car has a couple more HP and a slightly wider front end with add on arches, slightly improved aerodynamics that can easily be added to the previous gen car for more top speed downforce... not too sure that its enough to make it sheer perfection over the previous gen RS....
Am I missing something? Is it the colour?

Although I couldn't drive a previous generation RS to it's potential, the colors of the new generation are just breathtaking. Go to their website and you'll get an even greater appreciation of the color scheme.

All we need is a good vinyl artist on eBay to sell the livery package in 50 dollar quanta....turbo, gt3, gt2, gt3rs, etc..... I suspect people are already working on it. Might be fun to get a set of wheels painted red, the mirrors vinyled, etc....
Just a thought. I am probably like a few of you...I scrapped a lot to get what I have and plan to keep her a bit.
Agree, awesome new colors. More "fun" ...

For someone who has a 7GT3 or RS, the new RS may have just a small, but significant improvement.
But for someone like me who is upgrading from a C2S, the RS is a tremendously huge step forward.
