That's a great price! I may be interested in some carbon bits to drop weight, particularly rear weight, maybe a carbon spoiler or diffuser?
AJag,
You are spot on where it would be great to shred more weight. Have you thought about a carbon fiber rear carpeting, airbox, the whole rear deck lid as well as the wing? Carbon fiber parts would really set off in a beast like the GT2.

Great-looking car. That black is stunning - I think that the addition of carbon fiber would be great for the car.
I have wanted one, but was always afraid of my fear of tracking the car (too much $$$ for me to lose - although there is now reasonably priced track insurance).
I have opted to buy a low mileage 996 GT2 (the real 'widow-maker'), for 50/50 street/track use. I am upgrading the car to about 600 rwhp.

Not sure about what carbon fiber carpeting would do, if there is even any such thing.
997 GT2 already has CF airbox standard
997 GT2 already has CF rear deck lid
997 GT2 already has CF rear wing blade
You just can't tell because it's all painted over.
