Originally posted by quartermile They are really really loud, but I can't live without them for more than a few days. They are great for a 15 minute blast around the block and for track use but not around town. On a long 3-4 hour drive I use earplugs.
Just don't drive around @ 3500 rpm. At that engine speed it sounds as pleasant as a jackhammer.
Maybe it's my helmet, but the sound seemed even louder while on track. It gave me a headache. Ironically, I like the bypass pipes better for street driving. It really wasn't so bad for the 2+ hours each way to/from the track.

I am gonna pick up my car today from the shop...
man, you can call me inconsiderate, rude and all that..
but I just can not wait to take it out.. shake up the city with it. :-)
If you find a basalt black Gt3 with f-1 loud noise in chicago city this weekend, that's me.. haha
sure is a purdy exhaust...you should have done a stock dyno and compare with another dyno with the new system. Would be interesting to see if the hp increase claim can be verified. I am doing the same with my EP 4/16. Already have a stock baseline from the same place I plan to dyno on the 16th...

Originally posted by SkyclsGT3 rockitman, of course, I have th baseline dyno done. I will post info after the fact.
How much hp increase with and w/o valve open ????
I wish it didn't look so good, makes me want one if the power increase is significant over the claimed 14hp Europipe claims. I will verify ep's claim when I dyno it on the 16th...

Rockitman: Those 2 dynos wont be too comparable unless you have nearly identical weather conditions and do the pulls w/ the car at the same operating temps etc. There are a lot of variables when comparing dynos between days so I wouldnt usconsider the results terribly accurate.
so, how should I post the sound.. hmm..
I guess, I will shoot a video this week and try to put up on someone's server.. Hope this works.. any suggestions?
You can put the video camera in the car, take a ride so it captures the sound from inside, can take vid from behind the car at idle, and can also so some road side drive-bys. I'm sure one of us could host it for you if you need it.
DCLee, at eisenhaus shop, I saw your exhaust today!!
I was out there to pick up my OE GT3 exhaust and your system was there - arrived today. they told me. They were busy packing them when I got out there during lunch..
Oh My.. i will tell ya, it looked incredible. I have to get those manifolds now.. wow, great set up. congrats man..
Post up some photos when you get them.. I really liked it.
Yeah, I just got a call-- They're shipping them out tomorrow. I will take some pix before they get slapped on the car (which is just about ready to hit the track). I hope to get to the dyno at the end of this month, but won't do before and after runs-- just after. After plunking down for this Titanium fantasy stuff, I have to conserve my beans...

Hey Sky,
Any more news on how your exhaust is shaping up? Do you still love it? Any dyno news, or AV clips for us to listen to?
On a technical note, where do they fit the switch? I assume they use one of the spare Porsche switches on the dash (assuming it's like the OM Sports exhaust)?
BTW, Anyone know if Kreis-sieg have a UK or European importer/distributor?
