If they keep it at 500hp, I hope they have reduced the weight drastically....I know the car will be closer to 200k than 150k and I hope porsche makes sure this car really exceeds our expectations. I was hoping 550hp and close to 3000 pounds.

Think the ducts might just work on a black car as they'd be less noticeable, but on silver looks pretty rubbish.

You would think there's got to have some primary cooling function to warrant the crap aesthetics. But there again I keep on forgetting that this is coming from the same R&D department that dreamed up the Cayenne

Is it just me or does the "shark gills" around the tail pipe (and the area at the bottom of the rear bumper) still look like a mock up. The texture and the orientation do not match those on the side of the rear bumper which look more like a "final version."

It leads one to think they are still experimenting (?dual tips...there is enough room, if those "gills" are removed?) or checking out potential buyers' responses.

Also it looks like the front lip is retracted compared to other pictures we have all seen. Did it just fall off, get damaged or is it retractable...could save a few lips or just end up being an expensive repair after too many speed bump or driveway hits.

The "gills" around the exhaust though still look out of place. Just like when the 997TT came out we will just have to wait and see (or endlessly critique and speculate).

I wish I could speculate that this could be the case, but seeing how PAG mangled the 997TT design-front foglights, Techart slats in the side intakes, trapezoidal exhaust pipes, rims-I worry this is going to be on the final product.

I would get Todd Z., Stephen and others to fabricate a simple screen replacement or horizontal louvre's if this vertical setup is confirmed as the final product.

The White ones look great. Just hope the "grill" below the bonnet is black still.
