2010-11.... Gt3 RS ... Value....

been looking into these two years .. I REmember when these cars first came out in 2010... I always loved the look.. Never driven one .. What are the opinions out there concerning future value . I have seen a few for sale around 170k . Is that a fair price ??

misterwaterfall is infamous around these partsmisterwaterfall is infamous around these parts
Color, miles, dme report. These all makes huge impact on price. For a driver with 20k or so on the clock 170 is about right

Just traded my 991 GT3 for a 997.2 RS. Clutch is ok, just needs getting used too. Compared to the clutch on my 997.1 turbo, the turbo seems too light.

Wait if you can. Once the 991.2 GT3's with manuals arrive all the 997 GT3/RS models will all see a huge price drop.

Actually they'll probably hold their value. The model that will sink faster than an anchor will be the 991 GT3RS automatics.

Maybe you are confused, the 1.2 gt3 will drive the 1.1 gt3 down, but I don't think the 997 RS.

Even dealers anticipate that when 1.2GT3 arrives, the prices of the pdk gt3 and RS will go down. And it would reach where the prices of the 991 RS will converged to the 997RS.

In their words, "The 997 RS is going to be a classic."
Last manual RS.
Last Mezger RS.

But please, don't buy it because it would appreciate in value.
Buy it because you love driving.
Buy it because you are Porsche enthusiasts.
Don't allow our cars to become garage queens, good for C&C only. This is not why I bought my cars.

No problem waiting. But there are more people who want it than cars for sale. Waiting will not land you a 997 RS.

I am on the waiting list for the next GT3 and RS, but I will not sell my 997 RS.

My intent of purchase is because I absolutely love the car ...I would only drive it a few times and then pull it into one of my rooms inside my house ... I would consider it a form of art that stands on the floor not hAng off the wall .... I have other 911's that I drive ... Well , right now I have my 2015 turbo .. I absolutely enjoy driving this car .... So my next gt3 rs will not be driven. Whick is why I am looking for a under 5k mile car
