gt3 as road trip car?
I've put about 63,000 miles on my tt in the past 3 years. It's not a daily driver, mostly all are road trip miles (just added 2800 miles in 5 days up into Montana, Glacier Park etc).
A friend of mine who just bought a new Vette is now considering the gt3, me with him.
Anyone offer an experienced opinion as the the practicallity (not that any of this stuff is practical) of the gt3 as a road trip car?

Obviously not very practical as such with lack of room, noise, parking in strange places, etc. With stock tires and exhaust not horrible, just noisier than the TT.
Do you track your Suburban?

Yesterday I drove 140 miles to the track, 100 miles on the track and 140 miles home. No worries at all and had a great time.
To me any potential discomfort is offset by the pleasure of driving the car. There is no way my wife would tolerate that long in the GT3. I'm not sure if I would enjoy a long trip as a passenger. If you are travelling with someone, that's something to consider.

My wife was not too thrilled with the ride, but it was not unbearable.
Now that we have the ride height readjusted for factory, it rides much nicer, and I am sure it won't be a problem even with double the mileage.
The GT3's that I have driven are only marginally stiffer than the GT2, if any.

Been there done that.
New York To Montreal and Back a few times.
Shanghai to Beijing and Back a few times.
Planning this for October:
New York -> Laguna Beach -> Vancouver -> Toronto -> Montreal -> New York
. All that with open windows and straight pipes!

Its subjective for the most part. For me, no worries, the only thing that drives my bonkers is exhaust drone at 80mph...that would suck. But stock GT3 = no worries other than road chips and finding places to park safely.
