996 Insurance -

Hi guys, Can anybody tell me how much I have to pay for a 2002/2003 996 Targa/Carrera for 7 Months <2.500 meiles (perhaps less) age 21, german license since 2005 - no violations, US License planned for Oct09. Car will have a garage. Living in SC, Summerville My current problem is that no online calculator give me a quote because I have no US License. Perhaps somebody has a small hint for me with which rate I have to count. I have heard that Geico and Progressive arent the best - this are nearly the only companys I know due to the ads in TV. State Farm and Nationwide seem to be pretty good... Thanks a lot and I hope you can help me.

with out having a US license there is really no way for a company to rate you. Where will you be living in the US when you move back?

I gonna life in Germany,
but anyway - I have now my US License and I pay for my 997 with vandalism/theft and flood secure about 200$ p.m. at State Farm. Without theft and vandalism it would be 120$
I rated the car as a pleasure car. Its ok I think. In Germany I would pay the same price in EURO - so about 300$.
