Hope its not a repost but found these new videos. A drag race between the Sv and the 722 and a race between the bugatti and the F1.
That Mclaren after all these years still is a car to b impressed with

Hats off to the F1 for being in the lead for that long. What a great race, I wonder at what distance the Veyron actually took the lead. Looks like at least half a mile hey.
So much respect of the F1.

Would take the Mclaren F1 anyday over the the Veyron. No to mention I would love to see a race against the Veyron and Mclaren F1 LM my all time favorite car ever made.

The downforce might b too much for a high speed run for the LM, with its rear wing and splitters, guess we will never know lol

Saw the 670 vs. 722 last night but the Veyron vs. Mclaren is new to me! Nice post.

I'll take 1 of each?

I'm very impressed the Mclaren was ahead of the Veyron for so long but like Hammond said, 1000 HP is hard to beat especially at those speeds.

I think that in that mile run the LM would come out on top. Obviously if your talking about a full top speed test of the two cars then the veyron would win because the LM tops out at 225 vs 253mph. Also on a track the LM would blow away the veyron. Dont get me wrong the veyron is an amazing car to say the least, but I am just a Mclaren fan especially of the LM.

My observations are that it does not get any better than the Mclaren F1, the purity, the lightweight, the drive is nothing short of amazing. However as a tool for speed its hard to beat the Veyron's poise at high speeds and how it manages to tame 4 digit horsepower!

I like the SLR don't get me wrong but the LP670 SV to me has so much presence and visual drama, and that combined with the sound is amazing. I am truly sad to be witnessing the end of an era and the end of the Bizzarini V12. R.I.P
