Just received my first gallardo (06, coupe, e-gears, blu fontus) today and hopefully not my last. I got to say that I was speechless when it arrive and that it makes a great addition to my garage. It was a tight fit in the truck and I had to drive it out. I recorded it on video and will post it up in a few days. My camera batt was low.
The noise and power was amazing. It definitely felt like a zoo when I was driving around town as everyone stared at the car. the gallardo even stole the limelight from my friends newly acquired 07 vantage (1 wk). no one would look at his car anymore, so we had him drive lead so that he would get some of the initial attention. lol
The town I live in only has a handful exotics driving around. People were pretty shocked to see a gallardo driving around. It got crazy attention from my neighbors who probably already hate me because of my bentley gt.
The sad part is that I dont actually own this car. I found and purchased it for a relative. I only get to keep and drive it for 3-4 months, which is awesome but has definitely left me wanting my own.

nice, i just got an 08 spyder blacka week ago and i feel the same way. i had a 700 hp gt2 and didnt get nearly as many looks as the G lol. unfortunately i have already been hit in a parking lot... youd think theyd notice a lambo ,just washed ,parked there

Congrats! You sound exactly like me 2 weeks ago when I took delivery of mine. So you get to keep it for a few months?
I have a prediction to make. Once the G is gone you'll have an empty feeling and within time you'll get your own.
yep i get to keep it for about 3-4 months. will do my best to drive it as much as i can during that time. lol
my wife doesnt get it but i am totally in love hahaha.
will post more photos soon. need some side profile shots. love the noise the car makes when i gas it up. it is insane. the driving experience is different from the bentley.
a fellow driver in a car next to me at a red light thanked me for driving my car and letting others enjoy seeing it. lol what a response.
