Murcielago halfshaft removal
#3
I've done half shafts on a few cars, never a lambo tho, this is what Ive done. Hopefully this helps you.
1. Jack up car and remove wheel.
2. Get the axle bolt out.
3. Remove the caliper and rotor.
4. Take off the hub.
5.(optional) but I dropped the suspension just to give me more room, some cars you can wiggle them out.
6. Unbolt it from the tranny or differential. Usually its 6 bolts.
7. get that sucker out of there.

I have circled the bolts you need to remove.you will need someone to hold the break down...also get a crayon or something to mark the shaft so you can put it back in the same spot...
do "NOT" undo it from where you removed the bolts..put those back before you go any further.
once you have those 6 bolts out you should be able to get a screw drive behind it and pop it loose..if it will not come out you will need to..
break the lower ball joint lose..
"Leave the shock and upper ball joint attached do not loosen"
if you can take a picture of the lower ball joint I can tell you how to undo that depending on what type it is..you may need to remove the break caliber and rotor.to make it easier to work with since the car is on the ground.
I see your in San Diego..I live here as well..let me know where you live I can swing by.
