Need help with a purchase: 07 G w/ Heffner TT
I've been browsing online sites for the past several months looking for a replacement for my 08 997 TT and ran across an 2O07 G Nera Edition w/ Heffner TT kit. The problem I am running into is the company selling the car pretty much doesn't have any knowledge of the car or its MODs other than what they have invoices for or can visual see. Wanted to see if anyone knows this car personally or can advise me what to look out for with the Heffner kit.
The price seems pretty fair considering the TT kit included but I also don't want to get stuck with repair bills due to mods... Any suggestions would be great appreciated.
Also, can someone give me a quick run down on what factory options I should be looking for with this car? The dealer also doesnt have the window sticker so he doesn't know what options the car is fitted with!
TIA

spoke to the guys at heff and they were pretty helpful. basically said the car had garrett t35? turbos w/ a built motor... cost was about $65K at the time and dyno'd at 800hp or so from what they remember.
car is priced around $150K. Figured a stock nera is worth $130 or so?

If this is the car I'm thinking it is, I'd stay away. "Repo from Michigan and had been in an accident, belonged to a leasing company and has a poorly done repair" Does it have white interior, from the picture it looks like it does. That's gotta be the car. Recently got sold at an auction near by that's why I know all this.

Thanks for the info and sounds like the exact car. I figured their was something off with the car due to the pricing. Ran a carfax and nothing showed. Also seller is listing as no paint history, but I rather be safe than sorry.
Any idea how much it sold for at the auction?

I know this car too and considered it last year. It was at a dealership in Long Island and the guy there told me the original owner couldn't make the payments anymore so he gave the car up. Car seemed like it was in good shape but to be honest... UGR or nothing..... at least that is what I am thinking....
