I agree, the appeal of Japanese sports cars is not the heritage or jaw dropping interior but the price/performance value. Fail!

In the UK where LFAs cost £350,000, I can get a McLaren MP4-12C and a Noble M600 that will ****-rape both of them for that price. Or I could swap one of the aforementioned for an F458.
Or alternatively buy a 997 GT2, a 997.2 GT3 and a 997.2 GT3 RS + change. Or swap any of the above for a 997.2 TT.
Hell, the bloody Enzo retailed at £420,000 when it came out.
Someone tell me WTF is so special about a 1500kg Lexus with 552hp/354lbft, a slow as ****e sequential gearbox (200ms), no direct injection and inferior downforce to an F458 (522lbs vs 794lbs @200mph).
£350,000 ($600,000).
Funny thing is they showed it next to some riced out SC300s at SEMA and it fitted right in. I'm not usually this critical of cars but a £350,000 Lexus really has to be the best car in the world for it to work at a price like that.

The same argument could be made for the Corvette vs the Porsche.

I am glad all of you have these negative feelings for this car, i thought i was the only one. Yes the engine seems like a gem, but other than that, i can name so many cars and quantitiy of two for the same price as this I would rather have. Actually, I wouldn't want this car at all, i don't find it beautiful in any way other than it's sound!!

You can add Ferrari to that too... Aston Martin, Lamborghini; who else?
Honestly if it looked better the price would be more justifiable. It felt like they were trying to mix different design concepts and it ended looking up like a jigsaw puzzle. The profile and interior are the only good-looking things from an aesthetic point of view.
