Lotus & Brit Cars C & C in Gambrills, MD
My certificate of provenance from Lotus says that my Europa left the factory on March 27, 1974...it will be 40 years old in two weeks!
To celebrate, trying to pull together an informal/one time cars and coffee especially for Lotus cars, vintage and modern...but all british cars are invited too!
It will be at the Waugh Chapel Shopping Center in Gambrills, MD on Sunday, March 30th. Typical C & C time: 7 am to mid morning or so. The shopping center is at the corner of Rt. 3 and Waugh Chapel road in Gambrills. Gambrills is roughly equi-distance to Annapolis, Baltimore, Gaithersburg/Rockville, NOVA/DC.
We will park in the area near the Caribou Coffee, which is directly adjacent to a Safeway (which has a Starbuck's in it).
PLEASE if you think you might come, drop me a line. This is informal, and if it's only me and one or two others, that's great. If it looks to be a bigger thing, I will want to give the shopping center management a heads up.
It's a good idea for me to have contact info in case of changes or weather issues. Also, I can send precise directions as the center has recently expanded considerably and it can be a little confusing to find your way around if you're not familiar with it.
The way things have been going, that weekend may have the first good driving weather of the season!
