Macan Turbo Front Drive Shaft Issue
Wife's 2016 Macan Turbo has toasted its front drive shaft with at 3k miles, happened over 3 weeks ago and part from Germany not supposed to arrive in US until November 1.
Obviously, this sucks on several fronts. Anyone have an idea about who at Porsche we could contact for some explanation? Dealer has given no reason for part taking so long to get here. Sounds like someone is bringing it via rowboat across the Atlantic.

You could try contacting PORSCHE North America, which is 1-800-PORSCHE.
Based on the information it sounds like a 4-5 week delivery, and is probably being shipped via boat. I'm sure you could get an explanation as to why, but that probably won't change the timeframe. It's possible Porsche could have been back ordered on replacement drive shafts at the factory outside of the parts that are allotted for cars being built.
Is your dealer providing a vehicle for you to use until the car is serviced and repaired?

I called Porsche USA today, hope to have some more details soon and will post as soon as received. They've had the car almost 6 weeks now with tentative Nov 1 part delivery date.

I just recently had my 2016 Cayenne stuck at the dealership for 3 weeks due to non-working heater. I make a complaint, and they decided to refund 1 month payment.

But that is not the car that you are paying for.
In fact, I just got the check a few days ago.
