HOLLY S#!TTT!!!!, NOW THATS A FISH!!! and I thought that the 50+ pound tuna and swordfish is big!!!! is it easy to catch something that big out there in alaska?

hey eklover did you use a bangstick on those fish I see the hole and the burn on the head. I heard they will rattle in the boat forever unless you kill them and do some serious damage. I wish i went halibut fishing on my salmon trip to Alaska 20 years ago. I catch the smaller version here in CT flounder and fluke.

We had 83 pounds of meat after we finished cleaning those 2 plus 1 smaller one... thats with no bones and no skin, just solid meat! ! !

It depends on how you are fishing, it could take a while to reel them in. With a rod and reel it could take 1 hour plus. With a reel buddy it takes less time.

Yes we did have to bust some caps because fish that big could break limbs flopping around on the deck.

Wow I really need to step my game up. The only fish (seriously, I've only caught one out of the 5 times I've been fishing) was a little blue gill that could fit in my hand.

I was just in Whittier a few months back. Really cool town and love how you have to drive through a tunnel to get to this town! Loved the glaciers there!
