2006GT is an unknown quantity at this point
salt water issues

yes, earlier models didn't react very well to salt water. However, SeaDoo claims that 2006 models are imune to any salt water problems especially if you always flush them after usage

jet skis/wave runners are a blast, but please be careful on them. I was a passanger on when that got into a little incident and I was bruised up pretty good. The newer ones like the RXP are absolutely INSANE! like a motorcycle on water. I can not wait to go back out and ride again.

I ended up very far from the wave runner and my chest, arms and legs were all bruised up. I think most of the bruising came from the initial hit, but i know that either the initial hit or me hitting the water knocked the wind out of me.

I learned never to ride as a passanger on those things again.

Boyracer, riding passenger behind a dude is a bit iffy anyway .

My cousin used to race jet skis professionally, actually won or almost won the world title one year. Those guys used to get really hurt if they fell, not from the fall, but from the other racers running into their heads as they floated right at water level . Even with a helmet a few guys every year got pretty serious neck injuries or crushed ribs. After being a pro snowboarder, jet ski racer, and doing supercross, I'm not sure how my cousin is still alive .

I have to admit wave runners are fun too, doing 360's and spraying people on boats can have its merit.

yeah....jetskis are very dangerous....at 40+ mph the water might as well be concrete.

always where a life vest.....my parents and their friends were on a boat together and one of their aquitances was riding around w/o a vest. He lost control of the ski and fell off hitting his head on it. The river was not clear and very deep....not to mention very very fast (the flow). He sank like a stone almost immediatly and though people jumped in....they could not find him....if only he wore a vest....he could have gotten away with a minor head injury.

be careful out there people

To the guy that asked about mod'ing them. Yep just like any other engine you can. Depends on how much $ you want to drop but you can add bigger S/C, change the turbines, bigger bore/stroke etc. etc.

I've went to a local boat expo in my city and saw a Sea Doo RXP Live, it's amazing ! I didnt knew it has been imported here too. I dont know the prices for this toy in US but here it's 17,052 EURO , that means around 21,714 USD , i find it very expensive i dont know if its because of the import fees or other stuff.

Here are some pics with the jet

Also an expensive yacht was exposed here too - http://www.boats.com/new-boats/azimu...00/details.jsp an AZIMUT 42 EVO , but it has only 390 HP not 700+. It looks great , but very expensive too 470,000,-EUR motorized. I couldnt get inside only people with invitations could do that. It must be great.
