Saw it once from about a mile away! The boat originally started to be built in 1999 by Lurssen for Prince Jefri Bolikiah, The Sultan of Brunie's brother, who walked away from the build about 40% in. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid, Dubai's ruler, vice president, and prime minister bought the boat as is and had it shipped to Dubai for local fitment and continuation of the build.

For some reason, it's been in Jebel Ali port for several years, and hasn't seen any proper cruising!

Yacht name: Princess Mariana
Length: 258 feet
Year Built: 2003
Builder: Royal Denship
Sleeps: 12 guests
Crew: 26
Charter price: 610,000 Euros per week

http://www.edmistoncompany.com/Luxur...=&from=charter

Check out the cinema, tender (110 feet long, which is a yacht in itself)

Owner is supposedly a highly successful Mexican businessman...I don't think it's Carlos Selim-Helo though.

Totally agree, the perfect boat is not that huge, and in my case it's probably a sailing boat.
The Maltese Falcon really is something special..
