First 9 second Mclaren
I have been working with EVOMS in Tempe AZ to tune my MP4-12c to be a 9 second 1/4 mile car. They developed an EVOMS ECU Tune to go with what they call there big turbo kit which they will have in different stages. Also available is increased launch rpm if you like to spin your tires, there is a big difference in launch with that much additional power even at the stock launch rpm. My first time out without even giving the ECU time to learn was at White Horse pass Dragway in AZ formally Firebird raceway. Known for hot weather and a slippery track. The car dynoed at over 700AWHP and over 800 HP at the Crank and Crank torque around 670 ft lbs. Here are the real world track results to back it up. All 4 runs were between 2900 and 3100 Density Altitude. In other test runs it ran as high as 143 MPH in the 1/4 mile.

Thank you for working with us on this project, Lane! Last weekend was a great experience and introduction to drag racing I won't soon forget.
This car broke into the 9s running our EVT825 Turbo Kit. The kit includes Garrett-based ball bearing turbos, exhaust/high flow cats, thermal protection blankets for the exhaust and manifolds, and an EVOMSit ECU flash tune. It puts down 700whp and 600wtq on our Mustang AWD dyno, matching the stock turbos on initial spool up but delivering dramatically more power and torque at every engine speed. The power curve is silky smooth, and generates violent acceleration regardless of engine speed. OEM diagnostics, traction control, various engine modes, etc. are all maintained like stock.

To engage launch control, you stop the car, stand on the brake, hit a button, floor the gas, and wait until a message on the instrument cluster appears indicating boost has risen to the specified level. If you hold it there for too long, the clutch will get hot and the ECU will abort the launch. Great for the street or some kind of road course race, but not really ideal for the pace heads up drag racing moves at.
Lane is a very experienced drag racer, and even then it took quite a bit of coordination in staging to be ready to go when the tree went. He was against a fully prepped drag car the last run, which took its time doing a burnout, clearing the cockpit, etc., so he had time to stage and do his whole sequence before the other car arrived, allowing him to get an _ok_ RT, but it wasn't really a priority.
