Purchased My 1994 Speedster

News Flash!

Just purchased a Guards Red/Black 1994 Speedster to add to my P-Cars. Can be seen at www.willowauto.com/sales.asp and then click on 1994 Speedster under Sport Cars. Will be delivered to me in PA next week.

Thanks to those of you who provided referrals during my search for an '89 or '94. I considered a number of cars, but this '94 is a past concours winner and a real beauty. Hope you can see it at a future 6speed event.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Yeah, I'm pretty excited about this one!

I have heard rumors of a new Speedster sometime in Porsche's future. Wonder if there is anything to it?

Loren, can I ask what you paid for a fine example like that?

Duane,

I paid in the 40's. The 1994 Speedsters are quite rare as only 409 were imported into the US (Excellence Feb. 2000).

Interesting what is still out there. I came upon one Speedster with 45 miles and another with 95 miles! Prices were in the 60's for those cars. I would worry about seals, etc. with so little use in 10 years.

Some prefer the wide-body '89s. I prefer the lighter car with the 3.6 engine. More fun to drive IMO.

Great car! I fell in love with the Cargraphic black speedster in the new issue of GT magazine. I may have to buy one some day

Robert,

I can point you to two triple black '94 Speedsters, one in Alabama and one in Michigan if you get the urge!

Thanks, Ken! I won't be on the caravan, but will be at the swap meet - most likely arriving around 9:30 - 10:00 AM. I attend the swap meet most years. Last year was a washout!

Look forward to seeing everyone!

Best-
