2015 Katie's Cars & Coffee - Great Falls, VA

6/13 Part 2
Seems I can only post five photos at a time. Bob, how can you post so many at a time? Is it something to do with the fact my "rep" is low, or are you some kind of premium member, or something? Also, how do you put text in between the photos (so I can name the cars for people who might not know what they are)?
In any case, here's five more.

6/13 Part 4
Okay, this is my final post from this morning. Hope you guys like my pics! Two of my highlights from this morning, a rare and unusual 1969 Cadillac wagon, and I always love seeing Mike Cecchini putt-putting around on his beautiful Ducati Cucciolo!
'Til next time!

Katie's was more amazing than usual today! Lots of fascinating individual cars today - the new Mazda MX-5, and a Hemi 'Cuda convertible. Interesting groupings - Allie's F40 next to an F12, 7 Ford GT's... Lots more!

The Katie's morning crew!
Early arrivals.
More early arrivals.
The McLaren 570S.
Awful weather today - rain, and more rain. It definitely cut down on interesting cars, but the local McLaren dealer trailered out a new 570S. Inside, many regulars still showed up to talk cars, and the full Katie's staff was there for us.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be no Katie's Cars & Coffee next Saturday, 7/4/15, due to the Great Falls July 4th parade.
Normal Cars & Coffee will resume Saturday, 7/11/15.

There's an interesting phenomenon when we regulars at Katie's can't make it to Great Falls for our weekly fix. To make up for it, more of us than usual just show up the next week - even when the weather is not great. Case in point: since there was no Cars & Coffee at Katie's last week, due to the local July 4th parade, we had a good turnout today, despite the light rain all morning. We even had a couple of vehicles I hadn't seen there before...

Glad to see the rain isn't keeping too many people away. That dark blue Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV is still my favorite example I've ever seen. It's funny, as the first time I ever saw that car was on a rainy day! I wish I knew the owner, as there aren't too many people who are willing to drive a car that nice in the rain!
Look forward to seeing next week's coverage, Bob, as I'll be up in Pennsylvania for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, all weekend.

Jaguar XKR-S.
Wandering hooligans.
See anything wrong with this Morgan?
Pretty impressive - why doesn't Audi do this?
First time I'd seen the Mini pickup!
What's it like on a beautiful-weather Saturday morning at Katie's? Busy!

@#$%! Thought I had posted them, but it obviously didn't take...
Summer Saturdays don't get much better than this - a big turnout on a beautiful day in Northern Virginia!

It's not news that Katie's has a large number of interesting vehicles, every week. What continues to amaze me, week after week, is that we get new-to-us vehicles constantly.
How about a Lotus Type 47 replica? A '41 Buick? A custom Corvette? A pristine, RHD BMW 2002? I had seen none of these cars before, but they were all at Katie's today!
As you can see, lots more there today, too!
