Would you think about starting up Cars and Coffee in April instead of May? I think a lot of people take there cars out of hibernation in March or April so for the early people it would be nice.

Cleveland C&C has always started up in early May, around the same time as other local car events. Though, I will bring it up with the coordinators of Cleveland C&C and see what they say.

From one of the Cleveland C&C coordinators, answering bxstr's question:

"The official start date for me is the first dry weekend after the first BIG rainstorm after the last snow of the year (to make sure the roads are clear of salt). If that's April, great!"

 

Ok sounds good. The only reason I am in such a Hurry is for us that don't winterize our nice cars. I know there are some BMW Porsche and Mini owners that don't.

BUMP!!!! It is in the upper 60's the whole week. A lot of people I know took their cars out of storage over the past weekend. We could really start in April if not right now.

 

Also there have been some pretty big rainstorms and the snow and salt is gone!!!!

 

Sorry for not replying sooner... I will get in touch with the C&C coordinators and see when they are planning on having the first official event of the year!

The Cincinnati Coffee and Cars event occurs every Saturday no matter what. Obviously if it is raining or snowing the turnout is limited. Typically we have good showings as long as it’s dry out. I can't believe you Cleveland guys can wait a whole month in-between sessions!

 

Pumped for C&C to begin! I'll be there with the Cars Cruising for Cancer crew!
