Minneapolis Cars & Cafe - Oct 2nd *Lots of PICS*
This past Saturday was the last official Cars & Cafe of the season as the temperature starts to drop and cars begin to go into hibernation here in MN, but we went out with a BANG! This was without a doubt the biggest event we've had all year and there were some truly remarkable cars that came out! Although it was a chilly morning, the cold didn't seem to dampen anyones spirits as nearly 500 automotive enthusiasts descended upon AutoMotorPlex!
Here's a sampling of photos I took at the event...
Redline Time Attack race Ryan Gates was in attendance with his AMS tuned Mitsubishi EVO X:
Nice E90 M3:
First yellow R8 I've seen:
More to come....

Yeah, this month's turnout was awesome. The 599 was awesome, as was the Diablo, just because it's rare.
I am dissapointed though that I always seem to have the only G37 there. Guess I just need to buy a Ferrari to fit in to the crowd better lol.

And just an FYI: I'm pretty sure that "Diablo" was a Fiero kit car...

Yeah, actually since you got it in my head that it might be a Fiero kit car, I just googled a bunch of images. Not only does the interior match a Diablo (not close to a Fiero), there is one key feature that makes me believe it's an actual Diablo. Take a look at the seat belt. In my picture, the seat belt is mounted backwards, much like it is in a Viper. Where you pull it from the center of the car and it latches on the outside, as opposed to most cars (including the Fiero) that it pulls from the outside and latches on the inside. Here is a picture of another Diablo interior and you can see the seatbelt mounting points are the same:
