Smile Hello from Mexico (Pics)

Hello all! my name is Josh and i'm from mexico! im a big fan of the mini cooper and the mini cooper S

This is my Story: is funny how i got my mini, it was my mom's car. Im the little of my family and by the age of 15 i got my first car it was a Chevrolet Chevy

it was my first car and i was very excited, i put some vey loud audio system and was about buying new wheels but..my sister is older than me so i had to teach her how to drive...and basically i had to share the car with her....when she learn how to drive she decided that the chevy was HER car...and she left me by foot!! LOL

So by that time my father gave my mother a great birthday present! a 2002 mini cooper chili (wooow silver, nice interior...a mini) it was my realistic dream car by that time....my mom drove the car for about 2 or 3 months but she wasnt very happy because the kar got keyed ny the second week (it was a very rare car in our area), the mini seemed not to have all the space for the groceries, etc. so my father bought her a SUV and the mini was left in the garage...they only let me wash the car LOL

my mother decided to sell the car...i was like very sad so i talked to my parents and told them that i want to buy them the car...at first they tought i was crazy, but the next day i started to look for jobs and i ended working 2 different jobs and also in schools, it took me about 2 and a half years to pay them the car (i saved all my money, it was a very great sacrifice cause i didnt wnet out too much with my friends to save money, i only used some money to eat LOL, etc., i was 17) but i ended having such a great car....nowdays i chagend the wheels, put some rally lights, and i think it looks great! not a big deal! i love this car so much. Also nowdays i have a bora (Jetta MKv in the states) as a DD, love the car so far! here are some pics of both cars! im keeping the mini as a weekend car!

here is my mini:

The Bora (Jetta MKV):

Hey Josh....the Mini looks AWESOME! I have a 09 Cooper S and am about to have a stereo installed. I've never been much into car stereo but the stock system in the Mini is horrible and I use my Mini as my work and travel car so I need something that sounds nice. I am keeping the stock head unit and going to use:
Alpine Imprint Processor
Hertz High Energy fronts
JL Audio 4 channel amp
JL Audio 8" sub in custom box in rear side of the boot (trunk)

I would love a 10" sub but I need to keep the most space in the trunk as possible so I am going with a custom built box on the right side with a 8". Heck anything will sound better than the stock system.
take care, Mike
