I've been debating getting one. Looks like a fun bike, and since it's (semi) italian it will sound great.
I'm torn between that and a Harley Night rod. Two different worlds but I really like both. So I'd like to get some opinions of those that have a Brutale, as I've heard from many a Harley owner.

Brutales are beautiful bikes and the new 1078 will be a monster. If you buy a MV it is kinda of a Harley (Harley bought MV last year) already. J/K
The bike is kind of compact so if you are tall it could be a little bit of a problem.
Depending on where you are located, the dealer network and support might be a little scarce.
Ive had 2. They are definately not as comfortable as the Harley, but thats not the point of the Brute. The power is great, handling is awesome, plus its one of the best looking bikes ever made, another Tamburini masterpiece. Service can be an issue if your not close to a dealership, but maintenance is not a big issue with them anyway.
I have a 750 Brutale America (42/300) and I completely agree with Rick. Great power, the sound is intoxicating, awesome looks. The only problem I have is that it's fairly impossible to use it in a big city with lots of traffic jams. When you're sitting in traffic the bike is cooking and when the road is free is difficult not to exceed speed limits. Once you're out of town, it's paradise!
Go for it!

both bikes are great bikes, I have had many bikes, mostly Italian, and I have always loved the feel of the MV, they corner great and very smooth yet well crafted. yet the only draw back is the price, when you ride a lot of different bikes its hard to justify the much higher price tag.
as for the night rod, great bike, it is unlike any other harley, the bike has great power, and actually corners quite well, in addition to all that the bike is comfortable
