That bike is fantastic......I have shown so much restraint in not buying one I can't believe it. Just 2 months left of good weather and maybe this thread will go away

ventracing will become famous soon enough
The bike is incredible. We saw them debut it at the World Superbike in Salt Lake this year. In person it is even more striking. I have an S4r and once supply improves I will be trading it in and moving up. Beautiful bike!

I kinda disliked my Hypermotard from a performance standpoint. I am afraid that I would find this bike to feel the same. I could never get used to the fact that my car was faster (way faster) than my bike.

test rode one the other day, wow its a hell of bike! the riding position is really comfortable, its alot higher than the 1198 and 1098's. the seat cushion is not to bad, but can be upgraded to a gel seat or something. a very comfortable cruiser, but im coming from an 08 r6 which has the most aggressive riding position.

My Ducati Steetfighter has about 150HP to the rear wheel and weighs under 400lbs. It goes plenty fast for me in the straightas or in the canyons.

You must have a very fast car- or you are not riding your bike hard enough in the twisties. The Hyper is very fast on a tight mountain road.
It is not a good drag bike though.

True. How do you have your Streetfighter making that kind of power? Don't they have like 130ish crank HP stock? 150rwhp puts you at just over 180ish crank. That is 50 extra. Big gains, I would say.

They are 155 crank hp stock. About 130-135 rwhp. Down 5 hp from the 1098. These bikes are extremely corked-up from the factory. Exhaust, filter, race ecu, and tune does wonders for them. There's a shop owner in FL that has a Street Fighter with over 160 rwhp. The bike already feels phenomenal stock as I've had the pleasure of piloting one on the track. I can only imagine what one feels like with 25-30 more hp. Also, the traction control system is pretty crazy.

Ahh, very nice. I am no expert on the Streetfighter. Thanks for the info. 155hp is definitely a nice fat starting point.

Looks prety good for a naked bike, and 155 hp is resepctable.

Had one of these out on demo a few months back for a couple hours, the bike only had a couple miles on it so had to take it easy unfortunately, although I did exercise the bike well throughout the gears and rev range without much stress on the components or engine.

There wasn't much to fault on the actual ride. The dashboard settings are fiddly at first to flick through but easy to get the hang of after a couple minutes. Engine was strong, ride quality was good for the suburban jungles.

It sounds and looks the bizz, the bike got alot of attention....where could one go wrong? Other than repair costs the StreetfighterS is the perfect posing tool.
