My New Daytona 675

Hey all,

Just picked up this leftover 2008 Daytona 675 last week. I've only put a couple mods on it so far; frame, fork & swingarm sliders, plus CF heel guards. Still shopping around for an exhaust and I'm sure the mods will continue long after that!

Initial impressions: AMAZING bike. This is by far the best 600 class bike I've ever ridden. The torque is unbeatable compared to others in it's class and with that sweet triple engine it's got plenty of top-end as well. For those that haven't ridden one, it's an extremely tall & narrow bike compared to others (R6, ZX6, etc.), but it makes it feel so much more agile. I'm looking forward to putting many more miles on and discovering all of it's other intricacies.

Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics. I just snapped them in the showroom before bringing her home. I hope to get better pics up soon.

Cheers...

Very nice, and for once somebody bought this bike in a different color, mostly see the fire yellow/gold. I knew it was significantly narrower than most bikes but never heard it was taller. Learn something new everyday. I bet you are enjoying the new found low/mid end power .
