Hi, everyone. I took delivery of a 2001 996 Turbo last Monday (my first sports car; heck, my first coupe!), took it to a Car Control Clinic the following Saturday, and got it flat-bedded to the shop straight from the track! A rite of passage, apparently. Looks like just a broken hose in the coolant system from a cone I ate... Still an awesomely fun day, though. Looking forward to my first track day next month.
After stalking forums here about purchasing a used P-car, finding a child seat for my four-year-old son that fit a 996, and identifying the foam being blown all over the dash, I decided to join the group and share my findings.
My husband and I also have 2002 Boxster S in our garage. Two cars with the fried eggs in front... Glad to be part of the group!
